I am an out-of-network provider, which means that I do not bill insurance. I am not affiliated with any insurance companies.
Some insurance plans offer reimbursement for mental health services provided by an out-of-network provider. I can provide you with the required documentation (called a superbill) that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
This means you pay in full at the time of your session, and I provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance company. Insurance companies require I include a diagnosis on all superbills.
Please note that I cannot guarantee that your insurance will provide any reimbursement for my services.

Call the number on the back of your insurance card to ask about out-of-network benefits. Here are some helpful questions you can ask:
Are mental/behavioral health services covered by my out-of-network benefits?
What is my out-of-network deductible?
What does my plan reimburse per session for out-of-network claims?
What is the reimbursement amount for the following CPT codes: 90791 and 90837?
Is approval required from my primary care physician?
How do I submit a claim for out-of-network benefits?
How long do I have to submit my superbill?
What is the typical turnaround time for reimbursement?
How will I be reimbursed?

Individual Therapy: Since our work together focuses on deep, enduring change that is unique to you, there isn’t a set number of sessions that we’ll have. Typically, I work with my clients for 9-18 months. Sometimes, my clients decide they want to make therapy an ongoing part of their life and we keep working together over the course of years.
EMDR Therapy: Since the length of EMDR depends on a number of factors, there isn’t a set number of sessions that we’ll have. Generally, I work with EMDR clients in a range of 2 months for single events to 2 years for more complex traumatic experiences.
